Students will work with attorneys responding to intake calls from undocumented students and graduates (aka “DREAMers”) who are seeking help applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, and thereby to secure protection from deportation and authorization to work legally. Students will discuss DACA eligibility requirements with applicants and help Equal Justice Center attorneys identify clients eligible to receive legal assistance from the EJC with their DACA applications.
