Students will assist individuals with driver license holds related to unpaid criminal justice debt. At the work session, student will assemble information packets for clinic participants and will determine their eligibility for services. At the clinic, students will meet with participants to help them navigate the driver license reclamation process, complete financial affidavits, and apply for occupational driver licenses as needed.

The Driver License Reclamation Project is a student-led internal project of the Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Program dedicated to addressing how driver license suspensions contribute to a cycle of incarceration for debt and create significant employment barriers in low-income communities.
