Students will work as part of a team of lawyer and law student volunteers to ensure that all registered Texas voters are able to cast a ballot that is accurately counted by working with our state and county officials to ensure elections run smoothly, and by addressing problems quickly and effectively when they occur. Working as poll watchers, students will ensure that election workers follow proper procedures, answer voter questions about voting rights and procedures, and, when appropriate, refer reported problems to a voter protection hotline.
