Immigration Practice Internship with Catholic Charities Dallas

Students will work with lawyers at Catholic Charities Dallas for a week over winter break. Students will conduct client intake and legal and country conditions research. Students also will help attorneys assess eligibility for relief under US immigration law, prepare asylum applications, and prepare for court hearings.

Catholic Charities Dallas calls the community to action to join in addressing the root causes of poverty, hunger, and homelessness by serving, educating, and empowering all those in need. CCD’s Immigration Legal Services Program offers free services to individuals who are currently receiving public benefits or with incomes below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines
