Prisoners’ Rights Project with ACLU of Alaska

Students will update sections of the ACLU of Alaska’s Prisoners’ Rights Guide, working as part of a team of 25 law students from various law schools across the country. The guide details prisoners' constitutional rights and how they function in Alaska's unique criminal justice system. Students will be supervised by the ACLU of Alaska’s Legal and Policy Director and participate in bi-monthly conference calls with important figures in Alaska's criminal justice community who will help guide the project.
