Psychiatric Advanced Directives (PAD) Project with Texas Law INCLUDE Project

Students will help persons with lived experience of mental illness draft advanced directives as part of a person-centered planning approach to the treatment of individuals with mental illness by third parties, including medical and law enforcement personnel. The PAD Project involves a collaboration between INCLUDE and Integral Care.

The INCLUDE Project enables students with interests in disability and probate law to provide free legal serves to persons with disabilities and their families. INCLUDE is an internal project of the Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Program, in partnership with the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law.
