Recent Graduate Pro Bono Mentorship Project with Volunteer Legal Services

May 2015 graduates located in the Austin area will work on pro bono cases under the mentorship of an experienced VLS volunteer attorney while they are awaiting results from the July 2015 bar examination. Participants will receive hands-on litigation experience including client interviews, case preparation, drafting of pleadings, and case resolution.

Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas

Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income clients access the civil justice system by providing volunteer attorneys who donate free legal advice and representation, and by supporting and training those attorneys. Last year, VLS volunteer attorneys and staff provided nearly 5,000 clients with over 17,250 hours of free legal services.
