Reentry Resources Project with William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law

Students will create "know your rights" materials to assist persons who are seeking to overcome the negative consequences that come with a criminal record. The project goal is to educate individuals about their rights and accepted best practices for reentry around a number of key barriers, including employment, housing, government benefits, and educational opportunity. Students will identify existing resources and draft updated, Texas-specific resources that can be used by our own expunction clinic clients and by advocates across Texas assisting individuals with criminal records.
