Opportunity Zone Project with Texas Appleseed

One student will work with Texas Appleseed lawyers for a week over winter break. The student will research and produce a memo examining the benefits and requirements for IRS “opportunity zones,” as well as any documented community benefits and other preliminary results from the first round of developments under the opportunity zone program.
