Spanish Translator—Black and Latino Heirs’ Property Presentation with Texas Law Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic

Student will translate a webinar on Black and Latino Heirs’ Property and Access to Property Tax Relief that Professor Heather Way will deliver to legal aid organizations, racial justice groups, and other organizations that work with homeowners impacted by these issues. The student will translate Professor Way’s slides into Spanish, translate the transcript of the presentation that goes with the slides, and then record the full presentation in Spanish with the translated slides and transcript to create a complete Spanish-language version of the webinar.

Texas Law Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic

The Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic provides transactional business law representation to entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and community groups. The ECDC’s clients are strengthening their communities through job creation, the production and preservation of affordable housing, asset building strategies for low-income individuals, and the provision of innovative and valuable goods and services for their communities.
