Small Business Trademark Counseling Clinic

Students will conduct a trademark search and research their assigned business before meeting their business owner at an in-person clinic that will provide an opportunity for local business owners and student entrepreneurs, referred through community partners, to receive counseling on trademark protection for their business names and/or logos. During the clinic, volunteers will discuss the findings from their research with the business owner, and answer any questions the business owner may have with the support of a supervising attorney.

Organization

Mithoff Pro Bono Program

The Mithoff Program’s Transactional Project provides legal support to local small business owners without access to legal services, and gives law students an opportunity to build transactional legal skills.
