Students will help undocumented students and graduates (aka “DREAMers”) complete applications to renew their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status. DACA renewal will extend their protection from deportation, as well as authorization to work legally, for a period of two years. While the Trump Administration has announced the planned termination of the DACA program, the government continues to accept DACA renewal applications pursuant to a court order.
