Texas Law Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals Clinic

Students will help undocumented students and graduates (aka “DREAMers”) complete applications to renew their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status. DACA renewal will extend their protection from deportation, as well as authorization to work legally, for a period of two years. While the Trump Administration has announced the planned termination of the DACA program, the government continues to accept DACA renewal applications pursuant to a court order.

Organization

Mithoff Pro Bono Program

The Mithoff Pro Bono Program is hosting the DACA renewals clinic in partnership with Texas Here to Stay. Texas Here to Stay is a coalition of organizations working together to strengthen our diverse community by ensuring legal information and services for all immigrants in Central Texas.
