Texas Law Pipeline to Law School High School Classroom Volunteers

Law students will work with the High School Outreach Pipeline Program Scholars to deliver a practical, engaging lesson tailored to senior high school students at Eastside Early College High School. Volunteers will spend one or two periods of an elective ethnic studies class teaching legal concepts and interacting with students. The topic for classes on February 24 will focus on the constitutionality of the right to education. The lesson plan will incorporate two key cases that explore various aspects of this right: San Antonio ISD v. Rodriguez and Plyler v. Doe.
