Texas Law TABC Expunction Clinic

Law students will meet with University of Texas students seeking to expunge Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission-related criminal records. TABC offenses include Minor in Possession, Minor in Consumption, and Misrepresentation of Age by a Minor. Student volunteers will put together expunction petitions and prepare applicants for the process of filing and obtaining a hearing on their petitions. Expunging records allows people to legally deny offenses and erases records from criminal histories, mitigating future harm stemming from arrests. Note: Students will work in pairs. Each pair will have at least one J.D. student.
