Trial Testimony Review and Summary with Capital Punishment Clinic

Students will work in teams to review and summarize the trial record in a death penalty case, identify potential issues for appeal, and create various documents that will facilitate defense counsel’s appellate and post-conviction representation.

The Capital Punishment Clinic assists indigent defendants charged with or convicted of capital offenses. The Clinic works on cases at the trial, appellate, and post-conviction stages of litigation.

Thursday, November 15, 6pm-7:30pm (Jury Room, CCJ 2.310); additional training and supervision will be provided by Profs. Schonemann and Marcus on an as-needed basis
