Law student volunteers will serve as trial court evaluators or appeals court evaluators at the YMCA Youth and Government Program’s State Conference, which aims to create an environment in which students can increase their political awareness and understanding while learning the meaning of social action through an actual hands-on experience in government. Volunteers will serve as courtroom evaluators in 90-minute sessions involving high school mock trial and appeals teams. Additional information about volunteer roles can be found at https://ymcatexasyg.org/get-involved/volunteer/.
