Canvas is the University’s online course tool that supports course content management and expands the learning environment beyond the physical classroom through numerous collaboration and document management tools. To log in or to access Canvas tutorials and documentation, visit http://canvas.utexas.edu.
We offer one-on-one Canvas training and support at the Law School throughout the year via the LTS Help ticket system.
SharePoint is a campus hosted web-based content management system that has been approved for CAT I data storage. Features include major and minor versioning, check-in/check-out document locking, auditing, role-based-access controls, RSS feeds, Wikis and Blogs.
TurningPoint is an interactive polling plug-in that creates PowerPoint slides which prompt students to respond using a web browser or their mobile device available for a small fee for each student. All law school classrooms are currently technology-enabled for your PowerPoint slides and multimedia presentations. Many have document cameras, microphones, DVD/VCRs and computers in place. Laptops can be used in any classroom for presenting, and all classrooms have wireless internet access. If you need additional technology it can be requested by contacting Media Services to reserve equipment and training.
