The 2008-2009 school year marks the five-year anniversary of the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center's efforts to explore the intersection of international human rights academics and advocacy. To commemorate this milestone, the Center's 5th annual human rights conference will consider the work being done on human rights at the University of Texas campuses. This event is generously co-sponsored by the UT Libraries, the Performing Arts Center, the Humanities Institute, South Asia Institute, the Office of Thematic Initiatives and Community Engagement, Ethnic and Third World Literatures in the Department of English, and the Office of the Vice-Provost for Health Affairs.
