Women in Law Institute
Described by one partner at a top law firm as “the most practical tool I’ve encountered in my 20 years of practicing,” the Women in Law Institute is an all-day, intensive workshop for law students, judicial clerks, and LL.M.’s. Participants can look forward to expert presentations on the essential skills for navigating a successful career in law: (1) effective communication, (2) self-promotion, and (3) networking.
Following each lecture, students work in small groups led by distinguished practitioners (3:1 ratio) to perfect these skills through practice and individualized critiques in a supportive environment. More information on the focus of each workshop can be found in the Women in Law Institute – Session Objectives.
