Gwynn Marotta
Gwynn Marotta (University of Texas School of Law, JD 2025) earned her B.A. from Rutgers University in 2019. She interned in the summer of 2023 with the ACLU of New Jersey. Before attending law school, she worked at a political consulting and advertising firm in New Jersey where she assisted with the production and implementation of TV, digital, and print advertisements for Democratic gubernatorial, congressional, and state legislature campaigns, as well as non-profit organizations and unions. In her first year of law school, Gwynn was a member of If/When/How and organized a panel for an annual student run conference, Getting Radical in the South (GRITS), about successful reproductive rights movements in Latin America and how the lessons from those movements can be applied here in the United States. She has also served as the Vice President of Events for If/When/How, and on the board for the Public Interest Law Association and GRITS. She also helped plan Change It Up! 2023, which is Texas Law’s public interest law orientation. Gwynn is especially interested in the intersection of criminal law and reproductive justice, and is passionate about pursuing a career in public interest law that tackles those issues.
