Lara Bazelon, Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Criminal Juvenile Justice Clinic and the Racial Justice Clinic at University of San Francisco School of Law, discussed life after exoneration and the idea of restorative justice.  Author of the book Rectify, The Power of Restorative Justice after Wrongful Conviction, she is also a contributing writer for Slate and Politico Magazine and has also written essays and op-eds for the New York Times, Washington Post, Atlantic, San Francisco Chronicle, and Los Angeles Times.  The Budd Innocence Center was very glad to host this speaker lunch.
