The Budd Innocence Center co-sponsored Change It Up! 2026. This event is Texas Law’s annual public-interest orientation, welcoming new students into Texas Law’s vibrant public interest community.
Legendary death penalty lawyer Stephen Bright came to Texas Law on Nov. 15, 2023, and met with students from the Budd Innocence Center and the Capital Punishment Center.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner spoke at Texas Law on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in the Eidman Courtroom, CCJ 2.306. This event was sponsored by the Budd Innocence Center.
The two women came in 2022 to discuss the concept of “Progressive Prosecution” as well specific policies and practices of the Travis County District Attorney's Office.
The Budd Innocence Center was very pleased to host writer, advocate, and professor Lara Bazelon at an event on April 9, 2019. Ms. Bazelon also spoke in class to the Actual Innocence Clinic.
