Adelaide Schwartz was the inaugural M.D. Anderson Fellow, working with lawyers within the International and Environmental Law and Africa and Middle East Practices Groups of the World Bank. Adelaide graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2016. During law school, she studied the intersection of international trade, natural resource, and human rights law. She was a legal extern within the International Justice Program of Human Rights Watch and at the Legal Resources Centre in Cape Town, South Africa. Prior to law school, Adelaide was a Sub Saharan Africa analyst at Stratfor and a Peace Corps SME and agri-business volunteer in Burkina Faso.
