Prof. Dr. Jan F. Orth is a judge and Spokesman of the Court in the Cologne Regional Court (2016-present). He was a judge (seconded) in the Ministry of Justice of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia (2013-2016) and a judge of the Cologne Regional Court (2003-2013).
Since December 2017, he serves as honorary professor of sports law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne.
Orth earned his LL.M. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012.
