Workshop: International Art Law Students to Practice Empathy Through Art

On February 25, 2020, Texas Law students will attend an interdisciplinary workshop at the Blanton Museum of Art for a lesson on empathy and communication. We will explore how practicing empathy, from the museum to the courtroom and out in the real world, means noticing how our individual stories influence our interpretation of the art or the person before us. By  exploring emotional information with a group of lawyers, we will also learn how client service can become more well-rounded, collaborative, and communicative, and how that leads to more compassionate lawyering.
