Institute for Transnational Law Announces 2017-2018 MD Anderson Fellows

The Institute for Transnational Law has launched a new program expanding its vital work on transnational legal education by creating a fellowship program for distinguished recent Texas Law J.D. graduates. This program, with funding fro the MD Anderson Foundation, makes it possible for recent graduates to gain valuable work experience abroad in the international legal, business, and public services areas. These MD Anderson Fellows are part of an elite group of legal professionals.

2017-2018 MD Anderson Fellows include Christopher R. Marshall and Vidushi Shrimali. Marshall is an MD Anderson Fellow at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where he work on the Middle East and Africa Team. In 2017, he graduate from the University of Texas School of Law with a J.D. and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs with a Master’s in Global Policy Studies with a specialization in global governance and international law. Shrimali is an MD Anderson Fellow working at the Office of the General Counsel for the United States Trade Representative in Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2016 and is using the MD  Anderson stipend to explore the world of federal trade negotiation and enforcement.
