International Lawyer Speaks on Current & Emerging Issues in Litigation & Dispute Resolution in Mexico

On September 15, 2022, Miguel Hernandez Romo Valencia (LL.M. ’94) gave a guest lecture at Texas Law on litigation and dispute resolution in Mexico. Mr. Romo is a trilingual litigation attorney focusing his practice on complex litigation in civil, commercial, professional responsibility, family litigation, medical malpractice and insurance sectors. He also specializes in International arbitration and bankruptcy proceedings as well. Mr. Romo serves as the Mexico City Office Chair for the firm’s Litigation Department. His talk at Texas Law focused on current and emerging issues for litigation and dispute resolution in Mexico, with special emphasis on efficiency of process, integrity of process, privilege and disclosure, evidence, costs, litigation funding, class actions, interim relief, enforcement of judgements/awards, cross-border litigation, international arbitration.
