Rising Nationalism & Human Rights

With support from the Institute for Transnational Law, Texas Law faculty and students are currently developing a project on rising nationalism and human rights. The project looks at challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned from academic research and policy practice on human rights and nationalism. It examines the interconnections and tensions between human rights and nationalism and also highlights that human rights and nationalism do not necessarily stand in opposition to one another. Its arguments are applicable to Western and non-Western countries.
