Shane-David Willett

Shane-David Willett is a UT–Austin sophomore majoring in Civics Honors in UT’s new School of Civic Leadership, with minors in Government and in Law, Justice & Society. A Jefferson Scholar and Praesidium Scholarship recipient, Shane-David has co-founded two rather different institutions on the Forty Acres—the Civics, Law & Policy Society and, in the interest of balance, the Texas Poker Club. He also serves on the Civic Leadership Council as a Cincinnatus Fellow. A lifelong Austinite and his family’s first Longhorn, Shane-David is an Eagle Scout, a black belt in taekwondo, and hopes to attend law school.
