Tomás Cancio

Bowden Student Fellows

Tomás Cancio is a second-year student at Texas Law and is a Bowden Fellow for the 2025-26 academic year at the Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and worked in medical research, contributing to articles in Burns, Biomolecules, and Frontiers in Immunology, among others. Tomás is a member of Texas Law Review and a member of the Texas Law Housing Policy Clinic. He is primarily interested in academic freedom and political expression rights, and in particular the right to boycott.
