Application Information Texas Law Gideon’s Promise Fellowship

Application due: October 11, 2019

Texas Law will fund up to two fellowships for students graduating in May 2020. Interested 3Ls should take the following steps:

1. Review information about the LSPP at: http://www.gideonspromise.org/programs/lspp
2. Contact Lawson Konvalinka, career counselor for public defense positions in the CSO (lkonvalinka@law.utexas.edu), to schedule a mandatory counseling session. In addition to providing important information about the program, he can put you in touch with alumni who have participated in Gideon’s Promise and connect you with leaders of the LSPP.
3. Complete the LSPP online application by October 11, 2019.
4. Notify Lawson Konvalinka that you have applied to the LSPP and provide him with a copy of the resume and transcript submitted with your application.
