Isha Mehta
Isha Mehta currently serves on the Justice Center student advisory board, is Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), a member of the Public Interest Law Association, an Academic Assistant for Criminal Law, and a student in the Domestic Violence Clinic. She is also a peer mentor for both APALSA and the Justice Center. During her 1L year, Isha volunteered with several Mithoff Pro Bono Program projects, including parole, guardianship, driver's license recovery, expunction, and wills. She also organized a GRITS 2025 panel on Indigenous Land Rights. The summer after her 1L year, Isha split her time between Texas RioGrande Legal Aid's Consumer Protection Unit and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Office of General Counsel.
