Jessica Tremayne is an assistant public defender at the Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office in Nashville, Tennessee. She started there as a Texas Law Gideon’s Promise Fellow. At Texas Law, Jessica served as a Mithoff Pro Bono Scholar focused on special education projects and was online content associate editor of the Texas Law Review. She participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, Criminal Defense Clinic, and Children’s Rights Clinic, and worked for the Juvenile Rights Practice of the Legal Aid Society of New York in Brooklyn and the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights in New Orleans.
