Kiara Staton is a fellow at Texas Advocacy Project in Austin, TX. Her fellowship project focuses on helping survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence with petitions for parole and reentry into society. Her work is supported by the Mike A. Myers Fellowship in Public Interest Law, funded by Mike Myers‚ which is administered by the Justice Center.
