McKenzie Green is a public defender in the Colorado Springs office of the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender.
At Texas Law, McKenzie served as a Pro Bono Scholar with the Mithoff Pro Bono Program’s expunction and non-disclosure project. She participated in the Capital Punishment Clinic, Criminal Defense Clinic, and the Immigration Clinic. She spent the summer after her 1L working for the Texas Fair Defense Project in Austin and the summer after her 2L year working with the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also worked as a parole legal assistant for Mark Morales & Associates in Georgetown, Texas.
