Over 1,000 women in Travis County report sexual crimes to law enforcement each year. Fewer than 10 cases of sexual assault are prosecuted annually. Lawyers who represent female survivors of sexual assault will discuss ongoing civil rights litigation that challenges the failure to investigate and prosecute sexual assault crimes in Austin.
