The Justice Center recently welcomed Liza Soria as its new senior administrative program coordinator. Ms. Soria hails from Edinburg, Texas and has a BA and MA in English from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she also worked in campus administration. Later she became a doctoral student at The University of Texas at El Paso in the Rhetoric and Writing Studies program, where she is now a doctoral candidate. She worked as a writing center tutor and assistant instructor at UTEP in the program of rhetoric and writing studies and then returned to UTRGV for further experience in administration and teaching.
“All my prior experience working in administration and with students has led me to my current role as a program coordinator in the Justice Center,” said Soria. “I am excited to be working at UT Austin, and I am looking forward to implementing my skills and learning more about the Justice Center, the School of Law, and Austin.”
