Former MD Anderson Postgraduate Fellow in Transnational Law Starts New Position at Boutique Firm Specializing in Complex Disputes and Their Resolution

The Institute for Transnational Law is pleased to announce that Seti Tesefay, the 2019-2020 MD Anderson Fellow Postgraduate Fellow in Transnational Law, has started a new position at Gantenberg Dispute Experts. Gantenberg Dispute Experts is a boutique law firm specializing in complex disputes and their resolution. They represent their clients before state courts, national and international arbitral tribunals as well as in other fields of alternative dispute resolution. Their office is located in Dusseldorf, Germany. The firm covers every form of dispute resolution, but Seti specifically works in international commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes.

Seti is the recipient of the 2019-2020 MD Anderson Fellowship in Transnational Law from the Institute for Transnational Law at The University of Texas School of Law. The fellowship is funded with generous support from the MD Anderson Foundation. Between September 2019 and September 2020, Seti spent a year working at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague. The PCA is an intergovernmental organization that provides a forum for international dispute resolution through arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. Seti received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in May 2019. After completing her fellowship at the PCA, Seti interned in the international arbitration practice of German law firm Heuking Kühen Lüer Wojtek for a year.
