Institute for Transnational Law Cosponsors Career Development Panel on International Law and Business in the Cyber Era

On April 11, the Institute for Transnational Law cosponsored a panel on International Law and Business in the Cyber Era. Law students, including J.D.s, LL.M.s, and exchange students, heard from lawyers from Elbit Systems of America, SNAP Alliance, McCann Investigations, RAPID7, MacQuarie Energy, and Orchid Energy Group. The panelists, who are members of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, spoke about the intersection of law, business, and cyber security. Additionally, they advised students on the importance and value of mentorship. Students were also invited to join the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas at no cost while in law school and for two years after graduation. The event was cosponsored by the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Career Services Office at Texas Law, and the Institute for Transnational Law.
