An exclusively merit-based scholarship programme allows approximately 20% of participants to the Summer Courses to receive financial assistance provided by public and private organizations as well as personalities from different countries. The Secretary-General, on behalf of the Curatorium, selects the scholarship recipients.
Practical information
The maximum reimbursements per region traveled from are as follows:
Europe: € 250,-.
Maghreb, Middle East, Russia & Central Asia: € 350,-.
South Asia: € 500,-.
North America: € 700,-.
Far East & Sub-Saharan Africa: € 800,-.
Central and South America, Oceania & Pacific Islands: € 1000,-.
Applications for scholarships must relate to only one of the two course periods. The conditions of admissionare the same as for full-fee applicants.
N.B.:
- It isn’t possible to register simultaneously for a place at the full fee and to apply for a scholarship for the same period. In such cases only the scholarship application will be considered. However, unsuccessful scholarship applicants can be registered at the full fee (within the limit of available places) upon request and only after having received the notification of the denied scholarship grant.
- It is possible to apply for one period at the full fee and to apply for a scholarship to attend the other period.
- Applicants can be awarded a scholarship only once.
