Sofia Meissner

Sofia Meissner practiced immigration law with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, first in El Paso, Texas and then remotely from Philadephia, Pennsylvania. Immediately after graduating from law school, she was a fellow with Human Rights First in Houston representing detained, indigent asylum seekers. Her work was funded by Justice Center Postgraduate Fellowship in Public Interest Law.
At Texas Law, Sophie participated in the Immigration Clinic and the Civil Rights Clinic, founded the student chapter of the Austin Lawyers Guild, and worked for the Texas Civil Rights Project and the Health Law Program at Texas Legal Services Center.
