Whitney Drake is a senior staff attorney in the Austin office of American Gateways, one of the largest immigration legal services providers in Texas. Following law school, Whitney served as a law clerk for Judge Priscilla R. Owen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and then as a legal fellow at The Advocates for Human Rights in Minneapolis, funded by a Texas Law Julius Glickman Fellowship in Public Interest Law.
At Texas Law, Whitney served as executive editor of the Texas International Law Journal and participated in the Immigration Clinic and Actual Innocence Clinic. She interned during the summers at American Gateways and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San Jose, Costa Rica.
