The Justice Center and Mithoff Pro Bono Program kicked off the 2023 spring semester with an open house, now an annual tradition. The event started in the Eidman Courtroom with comments from students and staff, and then moved to the Jamail Pavilion, where participants had the opportunity to mingle over lunch. Topics included an overview of the Justice Center and Mithoff Program, the resources we offer, and the various ways in which students are involved in our projects. Acknowledging the circuitous and sometimes serendipitous nature of careers in the field, speakers encouraged students to seek out peers, faculty and staff to help them navigate the public interest path.
