Letter from Gore Vidal. Vidal liked Fighting Injustice, and despite the title he got the point. His reference to Exeter is anent my journalism professor Pete Steffens – Lincoln Steffens’ son – who was Vidal’s Exeter classmate. Vidal’s reference to McVeigh is a more nuanced statement than the one he used in a magazine article.
