Press Release, Firing Line, January 1990, and related correspondence. I appeared on William F. Buckley’s program several times. This press release contains excerpts from a program on the death penalty. I think this is the program in which Buckley intoned, “Mr. Tigar, now you’re being fatuous,” and I replied, “I thought it was my turn.” The exchange of letters occurred after the program was recorded and before broadcast.
