State of the Criminal Justice System

Excerpt from an interview with Michael Tigar in Austin, Texas on August 1-2, 2016.

In this video, Tigar points to several issues with the current United States criminal justice system, citing, among other things: the incredibly high number of juveniles serving life without parole for crimes committed under the age of 18 and the disproportionate rate of incarceration in the U.S. in comparison to incarceration rates of other countries.
