Media Archive: Maxwell Rabb

Maxwell Rabb was a Harvard Graduate and the Secretary to the Cabinet until 1958, amongst other various titles he held in the White House. Rabb was viewed as the staff member in charge of minority affairs, including Jewish issues, African-Americans, civil rights, segregation, integration, anti-Semitism, refugees, and immigration. Rabb also served as chairman of the U.S. delegation to the 1958 UNESCO Conference in Paris and eventually served as the United States Ambassador to Italy from 1981 to 1989.
