Media Archive: National Women's Political Caucus

The National Women’s Political Caucus was founded in 1971 after Congress failed to pass the Equal Rights Amendment in 1970. The aim of the Caucus was and is to promote women’s representation in policy making bodies to promote legal, social, and economic equality for women.
