The Warrior Bards, a play in six scenes [with Kevin McCarthy], premiered October 5, 1989, starring Kevin McCarthy. Kevin McCarthy and I worked on this for several months, pulling together material from many sources. Some parts of it wear better than others – the O’Connell and Malone presentations seem in retrospect to be all right.
